How much will it cost me?
There is a $100 application fee payable to the Illinois Gaming Board. An additional $100 payment is due upon approval of your application and annually thereafter to maintain your establishment license. You may also be required to pay a yearly “sticker fee” depending on your municipality. The rate varies by local municipality.
Liquor license fees, entity formation, and renewal fees may also be required.
What are the requirements to become a licensed establishment?

How long is the application process?
The process takes an average of 3-4 months from submitting your application to receiving your license. There is no way to expedite the process.
Can one terminal operator offer me more of a revenue split than others?
No. The revenue split is written as Illinois law and mandates 30% to the state, 5% to the municipality, .092% to Light & Wonder, and approximately 32.04% to the establishment and 32.04% to the terminal operator. Click Here to learn more about revenue splits.
